Radical Homemakers: Reclaiming Domesticity from a Consumer Culture Bring something for potluck, sit by the lake, and have a discussion of this new book by Shannon Hayes, also author of ―The Farmer and the Grill‖ and ―The Grassfed Gourmet‖. Writer for many publications including the New York Times, Shannon works with her family on Sap Bush Hollow Farm in Upstate NY. The book is about men and women who focus on home and hearth as a political and ecological act; who center their lives around family AND community for personal fulfillment and cultural change.
